Cartel Oficial Lollapalooza 2011 / Chicago

Hace pocas horas se dio a conocer el cartel oficial de la edición aniversario número veinte del Festival Lollapalooza, que se realizará los días 5,6, y 7 de agosto en el Grant Park de Chicago.

Las bandas que encabezarán esta edición de Lollapalooza serán: Eminem, Foo Fighters, Coldplay, Muse, My Morning Jacket, Deadmau5, A Perfect Circle, Cee Lo Green, Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley & Nas, the Cars y Ween.

Por parte de latinoamericana, Lollapalooza Chicago contará con la participación de tres agrupaciones chilenas: Los Bunkers, Ana Tijoux y Chico Trujillo, y la artista mexicana Ximena Sariñana.

Se anuncian los headliners de Lollapalooza 2011 – Chicago

A pocos días de haber anunciado el cartel de su primera edición internacional a realizarse en Santiago de Chile los días 2 y 3 de abril, la edición original de Lollapalooza, que se realizará del 5 al 7 de agosto en la ciudad de Chicago comienza a causar noticia debido a que los headliners de esta edición han sido anunciados: Eminem, Muse y Foo Fighters.

La información fue filtrada por el tabloide Chicago Tribune y también se menciona que bandas como Best Coast, Girl Talk, Crystal Castles y Lykke Li serán parte del cartel 2011, año en el cual Lollapalooza cumple 20 años de aniversario.

Line Up del Festival Lollapalooza 2010

En esta semana se ha dado a conocer el Line Up Oficial del festival anual de música, Lollapalooza 2010, creado en 1991 por el cantante de Jane’s Addiction, Perry Farrel. Esta edición se realizará a partir del 6 al 8 de agosto en el Grant Park de Chicago.

Las bandas cabezas de cartel de esta edición 2010 de Lollapalooza, serán The Strokes, Green Day, Arcade Fire, Phoenix, Lady Gaga y el esperado retorno de Soundgarden.

The Strokes en Lollapalooza 2010

Julian Casablancas, líder de la banda neoyorquina The Strokes, comentó recientemente para el diario Chicago Tribune, que se presentarán en el Festival Lollapalooza 2010, además que confirmo la fecha de salida de su próximo álbum para el mes de septiembre.

Entre las bandas que ya se encuentran confirmadas para la edición 2010 del festival organizado por Perry Farrell son Lady GaGa, Green Day, y Soundgarden como posibles headliners .

The Strokes se presentarán también en el Festival Isle Of Wright, próximo a realizarse el mes de junio.
